True North Thrift exists to care for our city in practical ways. When you donate gently used items, you are helping create a place where families can find affordable clothing, household goods, and everyday essentials — while also helping support the future work of True North CityCare.
This is more than a thrift store. It is a ministry of compassion, dignity, and purpose.

We are currently receiving donations at:

True North Church

Fairbanks, Alaska

Donation Drop-Off Times

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
Sunday mornings during all three gatherings:
9:00 a.m.
10:30 a.m.
12:00 p.m.

Items We Are Currently Receiving

We are accepting clean, gently used items such as:

Clothing

Adult, teen, and children’s clothing in good condition.

Small Household Items

Kitchen Items

Dishes, cups, utensils, small kitchen tools, and other usable kitchen goods.

Toys

Clean toys, games, and children’s items in good condition.

Books

Children’s books, family books, devotionals, and other gently used books.

At this time, we are focusing on items that are clean, usable, and easy to store. Please hold off on large furniture or oversized items until we announce expanded donation options.

The purpose of True North Thrift is to turn donated goods into practical care for our community. Every item given becomes an opportunity to serve a family, meet a need, and help extend the love of Jesus beyond the walls of the church.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to become a trusted place of care in Fairbanks — a place where people can give generously, shop affordably, and experience the compassion of Christ in a practical way.

Through True North CityCare and Thrift, we want to help meet real needs, support families, and create future opportunities for counseling, care groups, recovery ministry, and community outreach.

Why It Matters

We believe the church is called to be more than a place people attend on Sundays. We are called to be a church that cares for our city Monday through Saturday as well.

True North Thrift is one way we are stepping toward that calling.
